String of Watermelons has a trailing growth habit. With small, round, veined leaves that resemble watermelons. Less drought tolerant than many other succulents, it is best to water when soil dries out slightly. Do not allow soil to sit dried out for too long, as this can cause problems with your plant. This plant requires bright light to thrive, too little light will slow your plants growth, and cause the "watermelon stripes" to fade.
