Since beginning as a landscaping company, we have expanded and evolved into four departments- Alternative Landscaping, Alternative Yard Care, Alternative Choice Garden Centre and Alternative Excavation. We have designed, built and maintained award winning projects throughout Westman. We are a local, family-run company that has been creating award-winning outdoor landscapes since 1998. We complete commercial and residential projects in landscaping, excavation, and maintenance and operate a year-round garden centre. We employ over 100 people, and are proud to provide quality workmanship by people who care.
Alternative Group has been a COR Certified Company since 2011, and is active in many local, provincial and National organizations that help us be safe, informed and an industry leader in all aspects of our bussiness.

Alternative Excavation offers full-service excavation, sewer and water installation, demolition, and commercial snow clearing services in Brandon and the surrounding area. We provide hourly operator and equipment rentals and can price per project for commercial and residential civil site services. We also supply the materials needed for all excavation jobs, ensuring seamless project completion.
