Split Rock Pleiospilos can be found in shades of green and purple and are native to South Africa. They grow in arid desert-like regions that get very little rainfall, so watering is very important. Split Rocks like bright, full sun. They may tolerate partial sun, but the more sunlight, the better. Watering is typically where things go wrong with this succulent. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the winter, is it best to let your plant get very dry between waterings. Once summer comes around, your watering may increase.
